It seems like a good time to work at Abrams Media!  For the third time this year Mediaite broke its previous monthly traffic record. In the month of June, Mediaite.com welcomed a record 7.24 million unique visitors to the site putting it in an elite group of web properties with that kind of reach. For context, that means Mediaite alone does more than triple the traffic of a site like AdWeek which includes all of the MediaBistro blogs, and similar traffic to stalwarts like NBC.com and TheHill.com who have staffs many times our size. And to add to this good news – TheMarySue.com saw record traffic in May welcoming 3.5 million unique visitors (with a really strong June as well). Snaps to all of those at Abrams Media! Check out the full story here.

CaptureDan wrote an article for Mediaite.com on the record breaking traffic the website experienced this January 2015. Mediaite.com welcomed 6.2 million unique visitors which is the most it has seen in its five and a half year history, breaking the previous record by almost 200,000. Dan writes, “Part of what makes Mediaite so vibrant are the comments, most of them sharp and analytical, some a bit snarky and rhetorical (and yes there are still a few that are just downright mean spirited and awful). Across all of those categories, this month saw a record number of comments adding so significantly to our coverage, an astounding 330,000 of them in all with more than one story having over 2,000.” Read the full article and visit Mediaite.com here.
