17 Jan Dan to lead NATPE panel; awards ceremony in Miami

On Tuesday, January 16th, Dan hosted the 4th Annual Unscripted Breakthrough Awards at the NATPE (National Association of Television Programming Executives) conference in Miami: “The NATPE Unscripted Breakthrough Awards are designed to honor programs and celebrate people that broke through the clutter in the preceding year, as well as becoming part of the cultural conversation and generally altering the expectations of what constitutes a reality program.” Winners include VH1’s series “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, as well as Leah Remini’s A&E series “Scientology and the Aftermath.” HBO and Bravo were also winners for their respective shows, “Tonight with John Oliver” and the “Real Housewives” franchise.

In addition to the awards ceremony, on Thursday, January 18th, Dan will co-host a panel titled “Dynamic Duos: Talent/Producer Partnerships” with Dan Cesareo, Founder and President of Big Fish Entertainment.
