Mediaite has a clip of Rachel Maddow from her show last night, arguing that the reason Newt Gingrich’s surge in the polls was so short lived, and the reason Ron Paul has been unable to gain any real traction, is that FOX News has demonstrably opposed both candidates. Even a hint of disapproval from what Maddow terms “Republican Party TV” can be enough to upset a candidate’s momentum, and she finds this development very troubling. On Geekosystem today: you never really think about turtles having to figure out how to eat tomatoes, but apparently it doesn’t come easily for some of them! There’s a clip of poor baby tortoise Kevin, who can’t quite figure out how to get close enough to a slice of tomato to get a good bite. Luckily he gets as many chances as he needs.
