Mediaite has an interview with CNN reporter Jim Acosta, who was asked to leave Sarah Palin’s book signing when he asked her a question about her possible presidential run. Acosta was able to ask his question due to an event-planning glitch — the music the bookstore was bumping apparently stopped prematurely. Party foul! Get the full post here.

On Geekosystem: an absolutely fascinating time lapse video, in which a young girl, Natalie, ages from an infant to 10 years old in about a minute and a half. Natalie’s family was able to do this by taking her picture almost every day since birth. While it must have been annoying to have to pose for a photo every day, it’s paid off with some viral video fame! (Worth it.) See it here.

Amazing for bookish young ladies everywhere: Styleite reports on a new handbag trend: Olympia Le-Tan’s literal “book bags,” which are square pocketbooks made to look like classic novels. Adorable, and they make you look smarter. What’s not to love? Get a closer look here.

Sportsgrid has a post on Erin Andrews getting herself into some hot water with Cavs fans, after tweeting encouragement to LeBron before the Heat/Cavs game last night, and then admonishing fans that it was “just a game.” Un! Comfortable! To read the full post, click here.

On Gossip Cop today: Aretha Franklin had to have surgery in Detroit at 5:00 A.M. today. Although the reason for the procedure is unknown, she’s reportedly recovering very well. Phew! Stay healthy! Get the full post here.
