Geraldo Rivera on The Dan Abrams Show

Geraldo Rivera joined Dan to discuss his view on Trump, the Mueller investigation, and the pipe bomb events of last week following a divisive appearance on The View Thursday Morning. Geraldo faced massive backlash both online and in person for his statements that the mailed explosives were not real, arguing on Twitter:

“Put aside hatred of @POTUS & ask, with 12 days until a critical mid-term election-would a rabid fan/crazed supporter of @realDonaldTrump really pick this time to kill off the president’s enemies in a way guaranteed to make him look complicit in mass murder on the world stage?”

Geraldo apologized after a suspect, who was a loud Trump supporter, was in custody. He did so on both The View and The Dan Abrams Show and told Dan about where his view came from, lightheartedly laying most of the blame on his brother Craig. Geraldo compared this tweet to a previous photo he released of himself topless. Having thoroughly addressed the subject, the pair moved on to discuss Trump’s rhetoric, his promises and lies, and his own relationship with Trump.

Although Geraldo is on the president’s side for many issues, one where they differ is in immigration policies.

“It’s kind of bizarre, that he’s so keen to make more rigid rules on immigration when immigrants have played such a vital role in his life and in his businesses”

Geraldo Rivera is the Correspondent at Large for Fox News and Host of new REELZ Network series Geraldo Rivera’s Murder in the Family which premieres Saturday night at 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PST

Sean Hannity On “The Dan Abrams Show”

Filed under: Blog — Editorial Staff @ 2:42 am

In a rare interview outside of his own show and Fox News Network, Sean Hannity joined The Dan Abrams Show for its third episode on Wednesday. The conversation focused in one part President Trump’s incendiary comments and actions, beginning with Dan’s question if Sean would consider himself an advocate for the president and leading into a discussion on Trump’s controversial public track record over the last two years. When questioned if Trump should be held to a higher standard of communication as president, Sean argued that

“Donald Trump was not elected to be your typical president. He was elected to be a disruptor and he’s doing the job that the American people hired [him] to do. That means he is never going to be the establishment figure that people in the media want or expect him to be. He’s not going to conform. But I’ll say something else––is the media does a pretty good job of bashing him pretty much every second, every minute of every hour of every day. And what I pride myself in doing is something different than what they do. There’s plenty of Trump-bashing on radio and TV and in the newspapers. My criticisms are far more nuanced because I think I have a better handle on the Trump audience than anyone else in the media.”

Sean Hannity is a nationally syndicated radio talk show host and can be heard on over 600 stations including Patriot Channel 125 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. He is a New York Times Bestselling author and can be seen nightly at 9 p.m. ET on the Fox News Channel where he has been for 23 years.

The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets The Law airs on SiriusXM POTUS Channel 124 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. every weekday.

The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets The Law premiered on Monday on SiriusXM. The radio show began with the tragic events of the weekend.

Nestled in the middle of a predominantly Jewish community, The Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA opened their doors to Saturday worshipers and visitors for a baby naming ceremony. Eleven people were killed in a 20-minute attack on the synagogue. Police were called to the scene just before 10:00am. Robert Bowers, a 46-year-old long-haul trucker with an affinity for posting anti-semitic content on social media, was arrested and faces 29 federal crimes. He appeared in court where prosecutors announced they will be pursuing the death penalty.

Following Dan’s appearance last week on Chris Cuomo’s show Let’s Get After It, the CNN anchor and radio show host appeared on the premiere episode of Dan’s show. Dan also invited Daniel Goldman, NBC News/MSNBC Legal Analyst and Fellow of Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law. The conversation started with discussion on capital punishment, its viability, and the personal beliefs of host, guests, and callers.

In the press release, Sirius said that “with so much of today’s breaking political news having a legal component, Abrams will delve into the issues with a team of specialists, including former federal prosecutors and other high-profile experts.” With Monday’s episode fulfilling these promises, The Dan Abrams Show will undoubtedly deliver compelling, important content to news consumers looking to understand the biggest news stories of the day from a legal perspective.

The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets The Law will air every weekday from 2:00-3:00pm on SiriusXM POTUS Channel 124.

MediaPost Reviews Law & Crime Network

On Thursday, MediaPost’s contributor Les Luchter wrote on both the history of Law & Crime and Court TV, and the viewing experience of tuning in to a live, digital, 24/7 trial streaming network.

The network recently announced partnerships with XUMO TV and Pluto TV, substantially increasing the reach and accessibility of the livestreaming program.

In his article, Les follows the live trial coverage of the Tammy Moorer case. Tammy Moorer was charged with kidnapping and conspiracy in the disappearance of 20-year-old Heather Elvis. The Horry County Solicitor’s Office alleged Tammy Moorer became enraged after learning her husband Sidney was having an affair with Elvis. Elvis was also reportedly pregnant at the time Mooer learned of the affair. The conspiracy alleged the Moorers planned to lure to and kidnap Elvis at a boat landing.

Les recounts the shocking and controversial moment when Tammy Moorer takes the stand in her own defense. An inadvisable move for Moorer, but provided for great discussion between Law & Crime hosts and expert analysts.

A South Carolina jury found Tammy Moorer guilty on Tuesday. Prosecutors said she and her husband Sidney Moorer were responsible for the victim’s disappearance in December 2013. A body was never found. After the verdict was announced, Moorer was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

MediaPost’s review of Law & Crime live trial coverage follows a record breaking viewership month for the year-old network. Between the network itself, OTT platforms, social media livestreams and views on the site, Law & Crime provided content for over 5 million viewers, 2.1 million of which were unique visitors, with an average watch time of 30 minutes. is the only site for live court video, high-profile criminal trials, crazy crime, celebrity justice, and smart legal analysis. Created by TV’s top legal commentator and attorney, Dan Abrams, Law & Crime brings common sense written and video analysis to the often confusing and always intriguing world of the law. The site’s team of journalists and lawyers provide real-time news updates along with live courtroom coverage of the most fascinating trials and legal stories.
